Aloe maculata - AKA Bontaalwyn. This South African species of Aloe is known for its ability to create soapsuds for washing, perfect for gardener’s hands. It does have spines along the leaf blades, so be sure to trim these and the skin off and discard, only using the inner gel. Flowers on 2’ - 3’ stalks most of the year.
